Our Programmes

Our programmes are created to cater to the local communities, both rural and urban. We serve a diverse of young people. Our purpose is to strengthen and educate the youth of South Africa.

The National Youth Service (NYS) Program forms a core part of YouthBuild’s mission to empower young people through service, skills development, and community transformation.

The Skills Gap Year Programme is a one-year, holistic youth development initiative designed to support young people who are not in education, employment, or training.

The Faranani Infrastructure project actively engages young individuals who are not in education, employment, or training, empowering them to enhance both their lives and their communities. A programme dedicated to the youth of South Africa, by investing in skills development and infrastructure improvements in schools, all aimed at fostering vibrant communities through education.

Using a community asset development approach, YouthBuild South Africa, in collaboration with corporate partners, foundations, government institutions, and local stakeholders, actively contributes to the development of underserved communities by creating sustainable community assets and promoting inclusive growth
